Lecture by Michael Guntersdorf

Michael Guntersdorf is managing director at DomRömer GmbH. Addressing the subject of City and Architecture, he is talking about Frankfurt’s most recent achitectual project and the challenges of coordinating such a large construction venture.

The foundation stone for Frankfurt’s new historic center has been layed in 2012. Six years later, in March of 2018, the construction of this controversely discussed project is nearly completed. On the 7,000 sqm site, 15 buildings have been reconstructed using original plans, while another 20 have been newly designed.
